既然黄政民担当本片出演人质，我们显然能够猜到影片的重点会转移到人质上，再看片名《人质》更说明如此。中国版的警察、绑匪、人质三方角力不复存在，韩国版的警察很弱鸡，毫无存在感。为了制造戏剧冲突，绑匪戏还算可以，但为了不遮盖黄政民的巨星光芒，绑匪和警察的演员全都是不知名演员，纯是绿叶衬红花。这样的结果是，韩国版为黄政民量身定做，成了黄政民的独角戏。
