The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 看不懂这剧情。同是退伍兵，同样给那头头工作，为什么主角朋友就能光明正大地生活着，主角一直被追杀？主角和老兵吃饭时候，首先该射的不应该是主角吗？宁愿说主角当时正好移动了而老兵没动被射杀这样剧情反而比较合理。最后这真的是大boss吗？编剧有点太应付了…

其实你只需要设想一下穷困潦倒的你突然发现这么巨大的一块金子的场景，就能理解为什么死活不愿意离开甚至不愿意远离一点点，甚至紧张到不能正常对话，其实都是很真实的自然反应
每个角色都好像是工具人一样 唯一的亮点就是那个安全屋的特工了
克里斯派恩比阿汤更适合正剧，但是此片的故事太拖后腿了，氛围和人设也没有说服力。病毒疫苗由叙利亚科学家研制，米国草台班子在盟国首都连警察、行人都敢杀也没把事办成。[ZXZJ]
不止5.8的成绩，拉一拉。在很多好莱坞故事里，美国政府才是最坏的那个政府，影射这次病毒就是美国政府给放出来的，还要对研究出疫苗的科学家斩草除根。
荒野求生的氛围渲染的很好！只是男主有点弱智，怎么可能留下守黄金，司机不回来，不就活活的饿死他了！男主荒野生存的技能弱爆了！数次机会都不去选择，他不死谁死呀！飞机庇护地不去，偏偏守着现场，电话、女人、路过的汽车、风暴........活该死掉！
小潘潘硬汉指数不减，整体节奏控制的不错，没有太多拖沓。
影片超过一半的时间就是男主一个人守着大金块，给自己打造一个舒适点的小窝，干掉有危险的流浪妹妹，驱赶想吃自己的豺狼，可惜最后还是被豺狼们吃了，然后归来的男配被另一个流浪姐姐干掉。影片很好的诠释了一个词“人为财死”！我给3星5.8分，删掉了！
因为不在大银幕看所以发现不了很多细节，总体是一部无聊的电影，里面的女过客行为没有逻辑，画面还不错

低配版的谍影重重5，剧情有点慢热，而且有些地方交代的不明不白的，动作场面也一般，但总体来讲不算无聊，还凑合，比较唏嘘的是男主克里斯派恩老了，现在还记得他在星际迷航里的表演，男二本福斯特也老了，他主演的深空失忆我超级喜欢，更别提本片还有24小时的基佛萨瑟兰，只不过他更老了~
逻辑有问题，任务好歹也完成了，接走负伤的队员不是最好的选择？
