The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 今年的NYFF有点可怜，但是Nomadland在汽车影院观影体验可能更胜于传统影院。一个无依的人，串起更多漂泊的故事。科恩嫂的克制，广袤的风景，自然的音乐，观感很舒适。对于赵婷这是又一次突破，对于公路片，似乎也没有什么新意。Drive-in观影加一星
如果還在用垃圾豆瓣的話，很難消除偏見，而去單純得的評論電影本身。大陸熟悉的伎俩政治捆绑，又被做為政宣工具， 為趙婷感到可悲。
随便拿张地图看看吧：一块区域的地理范围是面，是广延的；地理建筑或地标则是由点构成，是紧缩的锚。路呢？它们只是“线”。

整个故事讲得很节制，镜头表达和主角主观的距离感刚刚好，认识这种真实事件对个人生活也有警醒作用

被悲伤孤独抽离后的私人救赎之旅。沿路的同类，兀自的山峦，远方的冷空气。回忆也许美，可是正在飞走对不对。
lovebifan：让我想起《猜火车》里的那段经典台词，生活中就是有人不想买他妈的大电视，而选择不停地在路上，看群山，看飞鸟，looking ahead, to the day you die.
2022年，在曾经喧闹的上海居家33天，也是一种Nomadland
是很有魅力的片子，影像上充满了漂流和不稳定，在时常出现的宽幅和远景中被放大，又显得孤独渺小。很独特的视角，大家来来走走，生活兜兜转转又回到原点。但我觉得配乐的存在感过强，想要扬起情绪的意图很明显，时而的戛然而止又把被撩拨起来的情绪硬压了回去。并且大家都失去了生活中重要的人这一点在我看来有点刻意了。但总而言之还是一部不错的电影。
“献给不得不上路的人”。常常与浪漫联系在一起的房车里，有那么一群充满着悲伤、孤寂不得不在路上的人。
