The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 镜头不停地没逻辑切换实在令人看得又晕又烦躁，伪纪录片的形式不是不能用，但真的不要滥用，基本上又是个作死+献祭+亲情的故事，被说晦气的形式恰恰就是优于《灵媒》的优点，《灵媒》缺的就是这种联结感。民俗元素成了近几年台湾恐怖片的加分项，玩得越来越溜了。真心地说，华语恐怖片还得靠台湾。

原本想给4⭐，考虑到这是近年来国产恐怖片的一大进步之作，便多赠送一颗星，以资鼓励。
而当观影这个行为成了宗教实践的一部分时，更多的观众选择了“相信”，害怕自己被“诅咒”。无法否认，这就是影片的文化背景。

一群无神论的社会主义青年 基本没看过恐怖片 抱着猎奇的心态来看咒 看完竟然代入感这么强觉得晦气 有点可笑了 到底是迷信还是不迷信呢？
