The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? A musical about making a musical
跟爱乐之城差很远，可能是因为传记片的关系吧，加菲猫这个造型，显得太不抗老了。歌不难听，但是看起来无聊冗长，除了泳池里写出歌的那段还有点意思。

纯剧本层面只能三星半，歌曲与现实的变换很有想法，但也没那么惊艳，是音乐剧与电影形式的巧妙交互

作为一部武打片来说，文戏还是太多了，不过瑕不掩瑜。
艺术家短暂的一生，遗憾的爱情，无人理会的才华，贫苦的生活，从痛苦中开出绚烂的花。加菲的表演太动人。比《吉屋出租》完成度高很多，这才是音乐剧电影应该有的样子，音乐和剧情完美融合。

真特么无语，这么久没看，找了这样一部电影，舞蹈片看过很多，这么垃圾的电影也是第一次看，真浪费了这么出色的卡司 FK
加菲的炫丽独秀！但太过热闹的形式，终究不是我最喜欢的。

本片从开播那一刻起就免不了拿来跟石头姐的《La La Land》相比较，可惜的是加菲卖力的表演并没有给本片带来多少竞争力，作为歌舞片歌曲不够出彩便已是致命伤，更何况剧情有点过于不温不火，使得观影体验十分寡淡，两相比较下来《Tick Tick Boom》的总体素质就显得不尽如人意了。
