The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很特别的视角。以前确实对慕尼黑协定这段了解不是很多，加之当下的政治局势，对二战似乎又有了更多的理解。荞麦一如既往，好会挑剧本啊，太适合他了。

慕尼黑协定的意义暂且搁置；双男主都很出彩，小人物为改变历史而努力，英国线的家与国，德国线的政治冷惊悚，尤其是 Paul 和希特勒独处时的谈话看得手心冒汗，历史选择的重负实难承担，结尾的牛津美好时光太好哭了......
已现世视角来看有一种无法阻挡的悲剧感，但仍旧抱有愿景奋不顾身的年轻人可能是永远会感动的点。乔麦演得蛮好，小哥俩还是挺有化学反应的
十年过去 仍然记得中学历史书上张伯伦的那张照片“我们已经拿到了和平的保证”。是的，希望，是指望别人做一些事来改变，但是，we have to fight，and I will definitely fight。看完这样的历史战争片总是内耗太大，不动一枪一火却能感受到其中的紧张。老板给我的感觉还真的和首相一样，日理万机之间跟你抽空说几分钟……

两位男主的部分好无聊，既不敢像《无耻混蛋》那样抛开限制架空历史，也没有拍出《行动目标希特勒》那样惊心动魄的暗杀未遂，所以拍这片子就是为了展示张伯伦忍辱负重的一面？还有不是找个人粘个胡子就像希魔的，选角太过丑化了。

德国重名地方似乎不少 电影里提到的Möhringen有谁知道是哪里吗？差点激动地以为是斯图加特的那个……
二战题材可以常拍常有，多多少少是因为“第三帝国”仍不时地借尸还魂。本片关于张伯伦及其他的“political reality”做出了不同于以往大多数电影的呈现。（顺嘴一句：这是什么原耽照进电影的人物关系）
