The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 前半段节奏明快，语言风趣，如果一直保持这走向就很好。后半段又落入韩剧习惯性的抒情，父亲知道孩子在恨自己，却不敢直视面对，隐藏真相，让孩子一直活在自己愧疚感中；孩子不敢直面父亲，因为自己内疚，想通过建站获取认同，获得救赎。但事情一定要上升到美国留学，才能达成双方直视，成本也忒高了吧，后半段属实拉垮了。
有天才创意的人多半是敏感偏执，甚至狂放幼稚的。深刻的艺术往往诞生于痛苦孤独和躁郁。虽然对猫画艺术不感兴趣，但是本尼的演绎还是很感染人的。

爱情线比较虚，姐弟线姐姐早已死去是全局最大反转，父子线隐藏了妈妈和姐姐去世的秘密和父亲无法直视的过去。
故事不复杂,
本尼出演天才的征途里又画了个正字，可惜导演处理得并不高明。
一些泡菜式感动，一些简单真挚的复古气息；片中亲情与爱情的相守，铸就了车站，也同样让每种情感都随着年岁愈发宝贵。
感觉画面和某些特效有点拉低了片子的整体档次。
真实事件其实值得拍的，但编剧导演拍的比较一般，让故事简单程式化，命题作文的痕迹很重，不走心。演员演的也一般
結尾親人線有救回來，但挽回不了想給三星的心
后半段有点儿弱……夫人把他比作猫的那一段最感动。
父子和解、姐姐那条线、青春爱情、铁路修建充实的多线叙事。虽然感觉差点火候吧，但完成度可以。林允儿太好看了吧。

故事情节很好，穿插的反转个人认为特别好，总之很喜欢这部电影，五星！！！
这俩人的进展犹如神舟十三号快到上天，剧本各种走过场走神不走心。造型师的审美在最后10分钟彻底下线，想冲进屏幕把俩人的白袜子棕色皮鞋胸口的大红花一起抠了。不过，Adachi真的好可爱啊(〃ω〃)
允儿1⭐，她已经成为了比片中的萤火虫更耀眼的演员。
隐藏在偏僻小村自建车站故事后面的家庭温情剧，家庭线特别是姐弟线感人饱满，但车站建设和男主的天才过程又太草率了，略拖沓。

一个实在是让人感动的故事，片尾的《初吻》主题曲，一下子拉回到那个纯真的苏菲玛索时代。
