科恩哥哥的單飛作，竟然看不到多少科恩兄弟的痕跡，更像是一首寫給Ingmar Bergman的情詩，在保留強烈舞台感的同時又電影感十足，充滿著疏離感。黑白攝影實在太美了，可以想象如果是影院、尤其是杜比影院觀看，該是如何驚為天人。

更喜欢贾斯汀·库泽尔的《麦克白》，但是这种极简主义的舞台剧风格也非常迷人，尤其是摄影、美术的艺术造诣让人拍手叫绝，包括那专属于A24电影的诡谲之气。
7分。有影帝影后托底，这麦克白的表演绝对是没得说，人心不足蛇吞象，从正常到疯狂的过程被华盛顿演的非常真实。但可惜整个电影的舞台感还是太重了，感觉就像在荧幕里又看了一场戏剧，这实在是有点尬啊~~~黑白的色彩加上极简的布景，说得好是复古，说的不好简直在看60年前的片子。。。这点的把控还是有点太难了。
戳爷的少年感爆棚了，整体画面和配乐和前段时间看的《crush》好像，虽然挺套路的，但是看得人心情很好。游乐场和海边的戏太美好了~
这部剧作被改编的次数也太多了，科恩+华盛顿也没带来什么惊喜，甚至于过度舞台化的表现方式都显得有些俗套。
