The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 拍得不像个电影……男二选角失败，没有那种懵懂青涩的成长感，桑德勒戏还是可以的，但是制作认真点啊。最燃的部分是nba比赛混剪。球员中塞布尔帅得很显眼。
针对nba球迷，中规中矩，最大的乐趣是真实球员、解说、教练出演，描述了下选秀、训练的流程。爱德华兹把反派演得挺好。

励志运动题材不会太难看，但是也确实不太容易拍出新意了。
结尾干脆利落，这就对了，相濡以沫，不如相忘于江湖。
很多球星只是单单出镜，就像路边顺路拍下来一样，跟主角故事走向有关系却的只有华子，从nba球迷的角度来看也没多太大意思
