The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 看完才发现，居然是《模仿游戏》的同款导演。「我觉得我穿上西装革履，是想说说服自己是个文明人。我太想当个好人了。」我觉得电影别名不仅可以叫《誓不低头》，也可以叫《裁缝店的那一夜》、或者叫《芝加哥黑帮二三事》。仅仅只是一夜的故事，地点就在1956年某个雪夜的芝加哥街边裁缝店里，因为有限的时间和空间叙事风格，很多人都觉得像是话剧。惊悚悬疑的剧情外核下，丰富地包裹着黑帮内斗、杀人藏尸、帮派火拼联邦窃听、扮猪吃老虎、抓内鬼、终极Boss大反击，裁缝店的这一夜可真是忙碌啊～ 故事的谜面由一位老裁缝开始、最后 故事的谜底又回到了这个来历不明的英国老裁缝身上，最懦弱的人往往最狠毒。可以在仅有的空间里把故事变得这么丰满，确实很考验功力。各个演技在线，故事层层反转也有了，但不知道为什么 看到最后终归少了点酣畅感。

一直看到临近结尾阿武和师父从酒馆里走出来，送阿武上车时跟他说如果车费有剩余记得拿回来给我的那一幕才彻底明白了阿武在师父心里的份量，也确实没想到这竟然说师徒此生最后的缘份。
仅有的一些炫技部分值得表扬，如缝合与编织的视觉串联。影片的悬疑性在第一次平行剪辑时破了功；而黑帮父亲的行为部分不但没深入，反而让他发了两次傻，他如此信任裁缝的铺垫完全不够，这个角色基本废了啊；后面怎么拉也拉不回来了。哦故事背景and职业设定 也不错
6.0；北野武师徒情，很真挚的感情。一大败笔是年轻的北野武也面部抽搐，这明明是他90年代车祸面瘫的后遗症啊。不过最后老年版北野武的化妆惊到我了，达到以假乱真的地步。
角落里坐着失望的领路人，我也想进去给她一沓零用钱，可还是把门缝合上了。

这场对人性的纪念是近年来悬疑片第一次表达出一股精致的绅士风度。而这表达尊严的方式，在喊出从头开始时候完成。他们只是用尊严的方式表达着对一位有尊严的人的敬意。

有三次感动，第一次感动是开头听到他自己的《浅草小子》，第二次感动是把高跟鞋拿给师傅穿，第三次感动是师傅给每家剧院老板送酒。北野武的面部抽搐不是一直就有。他的故事，他的人生，他的经历远比此部电影更为有趣且精彩。最近有感许多书或电影远无当事人的生活精彩，当事人生活远比自己写的故事更"进步"。这部电影就是一部小小的引子，是对于不了解北野武且喜欢网飞电影的人的介绍与礼物。对他有兴趣或者听过他的大名（本该因为谦虚打给"大名"打上引号，但今天是生日哟）好奇的，能看到此篇短评的人不妨去看看北野武的电影或者书喔。（wink）

真心觉得很一般，正常人被告知枪里的子弹全部被取出来了的第一反应不该是直接扣动扳机试一试吗？
古典悬疑话剧，工整严谨，利用套层信息差，让观众结尾小高潮，核心叙事技巧也隐隐有些剧透就四个字：扮猪吃虎
他不说话，只倾听，没人知道他脑子里想什么
封闭空间下的小成本悬疑剧，《套装》凭借张力十足的故事，悬念迭出的结构，演绎出了一场让人酣畅淋漓的江湖风云。未看电影前，我很难想象一场你方唱罢我登场的帮派之争居然能在一间裁缝铺里展开，而更为难得的是电影仅依靠人物间的台词对话，便向观众传递了充沛的剧情信息，并让人沉浸式的融入到了这场螳螂捕蝉，黄雀在后的尔虞我诈里。
在一个领域里，不断努力的人，总是自带光环。
观感很像那种沉浸式话剧，看前20分钟的时候可以选个角色代入，只拿到任务是自己不死，其他一概不知只能随机应变。这样看下来还蛮有意思的。
如此低调的片名下，隐藏着如此精彩感动的师生情，结尾眼泪止不住的流，师傅的行为完美诠释了什么叫“终身为父”。
