The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 片子的气质，是晚年的老人的自我感动，脑中剩下对曾经的遗憾和意气风发的回望。
一个少年的回家之路，也是一个老头的释怀之路。少年与父亲和解，老头与过去和解。选景、用光已臻化境。伊斯特伍德老爷子的电影我看了半辈子，少时如烈酒，痛快而上头；暮年如清茶，隽永而悠长。垂垂老矣依然孜孜不倦追求自己热爱的事业，我们年轻人还有什么偷懒懈怠的借口？只是，老爷子的电影，真的看一部少一部了。。。
怎么变成糖水片了，故事编得也太敷衍。难道老了之后就会变成这样吗，返璞归真一片祥和，电影内外的情节发展构成互文了。
很无聊的公路片，东木太老了，还黄昏恋，不合理
东木老矣，但还能拍电影，真是老牛仔，电影讲是一老一小一虚鲲的故事，有点平淡， 差点睡着
有点儿老年版完美的世界的意思 老年的更平和更温暖 也更自恋 经得起诱惑 把的住情感 既有牛仔的骄傲 也有迟暮的姿态 虽然整体上是拉夸了点 但东木还是很迷人的 那种老牛仔的气息

完全不行，像支离破碎的幻灯片，又像幼稚的国产电影。
这个男人太会讲故事了，没有那种极致又悲惨的结局，但更好地刻画了墨西哥的现实社会，会推荐

哎，真是好失望，以为东木老爷子最后要去一下西部牛仔，结果这个牛仔不硬，也整不动了
东木一部比一部温润，甚至都懒得为主角设置外部的障碍。黑衣小哥os：我送车来了。
这是一个真善美的儿童片吧？片头的pure American country music 倒是不错啊。
一老一少，一段road trip，路上遇见的人都帮他们，女人爱主角，问题都能迎刃而解。不行，即便这是东木的，也不行。
老爷子依旧审视着，却无力辨析或施加什么，看看挺好。愿他平安。
看着91的老爷子，看到了温和，看到了一份执着，不打五星心里过不去！
